My Bio
I recently retired from an international career as a petroleum geologist and am now devoting more or less full-time to my photography passion. I’ve long been in thrall to the beautiful in all its forms and thus as a photographer pursue many different subjects from wildlife to landscapes to architecture to longtime exposures to abstract. But a particular fascination for me is that highly evolved form of beauty: Woman.

I’ve been so busy of late with shoots – to Moab Utah in May and Iceland in June and others – that I’ve been slow to note Model Society published a special magazine issue dedicated to my work with dancers just this May. Working with dancers, both professional and those training for a dance career, has been such an enjoyable pursuit for me, equal to my work with art nude models you see here. And sometimes the two interests are combined as you will see in the pages of this issue. Please check it out here: https://modelsocietymagazine.com/dancers-by-randall-hobbet/ Very proud of this work and so happy for the dancers who

©Randall Hobbet Available now, SEEKING BEAUTY: SELECT FINE ART NUDES 2012 - 2016  is my second Blurb photography book following on my first book published in 2016, MELISSA ANN: NUDE MUSE.  This latest book is a compilation of my favorite fine art nude photos from my first five years of working in this genre, a “best of the rest” you might say. In this time I’ve worked with over 50 fine art models; 42 of them are in this book. I did this project for myself, to have a coffee table size book to browse and to show to friends. The format is large square, 12″ x 12″ with an image-wrapped hard cover and high-end

I’m very happy to share that Model Society has published a special mini-issue dedicated to my work with fine art model Melissa Ann (melannc (https://www.deviantart.com/melannc)). I feel so fortunate that Melissa favored me as she approached the end of her modeling career with this unique collaboration, and her friendship.  I hope I have done her proud in capturing her exceptional beauty. It’s certainly an honor to have this work exhibited in the pages of Model Society which I consider the unequalled showcase for fine art nudes in the world today. I support the mission and message of its founder David Bollt and am proud to be a member of it amongst so many extraordin

Brilliant photography; what a joy to peruse your gallery. Can't wait to have more time to look at more of it.

Hello!

I decided to showcase one of your amazing artworks in my collection of the most inspirational art I come across on DeviantArt.

I'm very grateful that you shared it on here and I'm doing my part to give it more exposure, as it truly deserves it.

Just a warning to fellow photographers. This guy in my post here is following many of us and stealing pics to repost as his. I don't have time to cross check all your stuff against his so you may want to browse his gallery for your work before you block him to prevent theft. I've had to DMCA him myself and he was following me. Please let others know if you recognize any of their works.
